Is it ok to ask questions about using lemmy in general here? Also, is there a way to upload multiple pics to one post directly, as an album? (beehaw.org)

can I make one post with several photos together, or would I have to make an album on another place and link to it for my post?

Yeah I've seen people make sort of ad-hoc "galleries" by adding a lot of images in the text of a post or in a comment. It's a little hacky but not actually that terrible.
