I just made a batch of pickled green beans but I kind of just made up my own recipe. I do a 1:1 ratio of water to vinegar, followed by dill (fresh or powered), garlic paste, salt, and a little ginger paste. Sometimes I'll add chili flakes and/or cayenne if I want some heat. If you want specific measurements I probably do 2T for salt and dill, and 1/2T for ginger, garlic, chili flakes and cayenne for one quart.

I've never tried adding ginger paste, sounds interesting!
