I don't really feel sorry for these people. The ones who get attacked while helping, sure, they didn't deserve it, but if you see a shark and think "I'll just hold out my hand with some tasty food", you 100% have it coming.
Less naturally occurring food in their habitats perhaps?
If you don't want to be attacked by sharks don't go where sharks live.
