I'm just praying for a race movie where cars don't infinitely upshift.

And the drivers don't mash the pedal to the floor and go faster no matter how quick they were going before said foot mashing.

We've been reviewing the data and found that:

  • You're braking early going into turns 3 and 9.
  • You can downshift more aggressively going into turn 6 for more engine braking.
  • And you're only applying 60% of the throttle for most of the pit-lane straight. We think there's a few 10ths in it if you press it the rest of the way down for the whole straight.

Wait, does the screen say 263 KPM? As in Kilometers Per Minute? That is 25 times faster than the escape velocity from Earth!

Silly you, it's obviously Kilometers per Mile.

Hence the insane downforce, they would liftoff and ascend the skies if not for that.

Probably some British designer trying to understand metric…

To be fair, they never said the movie is set in 2023 not the year of 3023. jk

"All in with the realism" so I guess we're about to see the first F1 to space race

I wish we could see data like that more often, like a full qualification lap vs a Sunday one.
