I'm gonna need an explanation for the puppet. I'm sure Kojima will have a bizarre explanation for his framerate, too.
A Cyborg Ninja is par for the course when it comes to Kojima, but I'm curious how Higgs ended up as an 80s glam rock version of the joker.
A theory I've seen floated around is that the ship is travelling through the seam, hence why Sam and Fragile were blue at one point. My best guess is that the puppet and all the weird monsters are connected to the seam somehow rather than someone's beach.
With Higgs, I remember a lot of people guessing in the first trailer that he fused with or possessed Amelie somehow because of the hairdo, and I'm still rolling with that assumption.
I am really looking forward to this. Trailer shows a bit too much for me. Wtf was with that person's arm, hat octopus mermaid thing? The holes in their arms creeped me out!
Interesting that the ship seems like it can both hover and go under water / through the tar.

I'm currently high as shit and this trailer is too bonkers to possibly summarize beyond "this game is gonna be weird" I was quite proud of myself for being able to decipher Death Stranding and make sense of its plot. After the first trailer and then this one, I can confidently say that I have no idea what's going on.
I appreciate the attempt. I look forward to your future videogame trailer summaries.
