Thats crazy I wonder how they handled scaling to that many users so quick.

They probably just had to spin up more servers (which are pretty light to host)

Epic had to have an emergency meeting at 1 am the second or third day of release to up the "limit" of available servers because it was early access. If I'm recalling that correctly. Like glimse said, it's probably just a flick of a switch to open up even more servers.

I honestly just hope this sends a clear message to the developers who need it. There is a very, very big market for anything vaguely Pokemon shaped that is not Pokemon Company. If Palworld, the most derivative crafting/exploration/survival game to hit market, can make these kinds of numbers, a competent studio with original ideas could really hit the moon.
