Olsoniformes is an order of extinct birds that lived during the Early Cretaceous period, approximately 120 million years ago. The order was named in honor of American paleontologist Storrs L. Olson. The only known species within this order is the Zhongornis haoae, which was discovered in the Yixian Formation in Liaoning, China.
