Sounds pretty normal to me - if I had to guess, it’s just the heads moving back and forth very quickly periodically on one or more of the drives. Personally, I’d run them for a few days or weeks before you put anything important on them (but still use them) to make sure nothing is out of the ordinary. If it’s a hardware-related issue, they’ll likely drop out pretty quickly - and then you can warranty them. But those drives are factory-tested for multiple months before they make it into your hands.

As an update, the sound and drive health was "normal". Though I did manage to dampen the sounds substantial.
To do this I installed rubber pads/stickers where the fractal design HDD trays touch the case. I used three pads per tray at three contact points two going through screw holes. I also added a rubber yoga mat (cut to size) under my case 6m thick.
The yoga mat was cheaper to buy than anything similar in size that I was looking for :)
