macOS is recognizing it, but no image on display. I tried safe mode but with no luck. With my MacBook. My USB c to HDMI converter works with all my other monitors. I want to use it as an Audio monitoring "device" with the minimeters app for my MacBook Pro m1 for music production purposes. I tested it on my win pc. It just works with my Linux laptop and Windows 11 pc with no problems. Any help would help, thanks!

So, let's see if I understand your setup properly.

On Windows and Linux you are connecting it directly to a HDMI port, but on mac you are using a USB-C to HDMI dongle or dock?

If that's true, it's likely that the converter itself is the problem. Some adapters will only support more "normal" resolutions and can't handle unusual aspect ratios like this.

You're welcome, glad it works!

Edit:
I'm an idiot.

I agree it's likely the USB-C - HDMI adapter.
Could maybe buy an official one from Amazon, test it, then return it. If it works, try and find a cheaper one that works (or just keep the official one)
