Man I prefer Samsung's take on gestures, and also hide that gesture hint bar for the cleaner look, so this is like a double gut punch. I guess I'll hold onto my Note 20 a little longer

Yeah it kind of made me angry how they refer to them as half baked in the article. They worked real well imo.

As someone who had a Samsung for the last 4 years and now has a nothing phone 2 I like Samsungs implementation much better paired with goodlock gestures

Half the reason I root is to get rid of that bloody bar on Pixel. Poor Samsung users!

So you use the features without this stupid white line? Yeah that makes a lot of sense, I think I did that on a rooted phone before.

This makes using "swipe to previous app" gesture harder in case app has a list with swipeable elements (such as Gmail) One of the purposes of the gesture bar is to prevent such conflicts.

Well that sucks. I'd like to continue hiding it but I imagine it's to enable the circle to ai search thing.

As long as they don't do away with One-Hand operation, I'll be ok. :)
