Man I prefer Samsung's take on gestures, and also hide that gesture hint bar for the cleaner look, so this is like a double gut punch. I guess I'll hold onto my Note 20 a little longer

Lemmy App List
Chat and More
Yeah it kind of made me angry how they refer to them as half baked in the article. They worked real well imo.
As someone who had a Samsung for the last 4 years and now has a nothing phone 2 I like Samsungs implementation much better paired with goodlock gestures
Half the reason I root is to get rid of that bloody bar on Pixel. Poor Samsung users!
Ffs i hate it so much
So you use the features without this stupid white line? Yeah that makes a lot of sense, I think I did that on a rooted phone before.
This makes using "swipe to previous app" gesture harder in case app has a list with swipeable elements (such as Gmail) One of the purposes of the gesture bar is to prevent such conflicts.
I never noticed any issues.
Well that sucks. I'd like to continue hiding it but I imagine it's to enable the circle to ai search thing.
As long as they don't do away with One-Hand operation, I'll be ok. :)
