And that's the great part about Lemmy, if you don't like it, change it. Don't like the UI, use a different client. Don't like the rules or admin, use another instance. Need a new feature, PRs welcome.

It's just a simple and functional design that some people are used to.
I see no harm in having multiple options to choose from when it comes to UI.
