I still hold a sliver of hope for campaign DLC, but I know it probably won't happen.

Man 343 sucks. Hopefully they get some better leadership for their next project. Seems like all they did was hire people who hated Halo.

F2P ruined Halo: Infinite. When the game launched, it was broken and nowhere near feature complete with far too few maps and modes, but the cosmetic store worked perfectly.

I picked up infinite again about 3 months ago and it's been a lot of fun with friends. Honestly the gameplay is (and was) a lot of fun and now they have plenty of free content and customization to look forward to. It's definitely not a perfect f2p game but it's miles ahead of where it was at launch and I'm a huge fan of the way their battle pass system works. It's really a shame they're moving on as soon as the game gets to a decent point, can't imagine the next halo will be an improvement.

I agree totally. I am excited for the future developments of halo etc but I recently got my friends back into games and had some game nights on infinite with customs and such and the game is in a great place now. I fear they are going to move on and make a new mess and then clean it up as well. I would not complain if they left halo infinite as is and expanded that F2P version as just the PVP focus and release standalone story games.

I sure hope fixing/removing MMR is considered a "small update."

They're going into maintenance mode

RIP 10 year plan

So they finally gave up on the mess that is infinite
