As long as the Blazers keep the 3rd pick, I'll be happy.
I might be in the minority, but I really think a trade for Siakam is something that could move the needle and be exciting for us. Obviously he isn't worth an overpay like Masai is asking for, and I'd hope that they would work out an extension deal if we traded for him. But if we could swing Ant, Little, and the #23 or something like that, I think he would make a bigger impact than a lot of people think.
I agree. But only with the 23rd pick and matching salary. And only if he promises to re-sign. Giving up our young assets for someone that will walk will be a one way ticket to basketball purgatory. Letting Aldridge walk for nothing contributed to our low playoff ceiling and inability to build anything of substance around Dame.
