I feel like the Sounders and the Reign are in the same place in my mind — severely depleted after a long offseason of departures, and the clubs keep telling me everything’s going to be okay, there are signings just around the corner that will fix everything, and I’m kinda getting a bit anxious. Definitely ready to see some actual signings from the Reign — use some of that cap space that was freed up when Pinoe, Rose, Sonnett and Angelina left — instead of just stories in the media about how we’re definitely gonna sign someone or I think we’ve got a long slog of a season ahead of us.
