Just picked 6 up myself after a super long hiatus from 5. Getting back in the rhythm and definitely will need to pick up a stick again. Shredding my thumb on the dualsense

Not lately. I've been very busy for the last few months and haven't had time to play. I do intend to play again this spring.

Every day, the Kim struggle is never ending. Can't wait for the balance patch, they better not fuck it up.

I'm playing a bit, but I really want to dedicate more time to the game. I picked up a leverless controller so I'm still getting used to the inputs and shortcuts.

Interesting that that your thumb is bothering you - are you using the dpad or stick on controller?

The dpad. I can’t use the stick all that accurately but I’m gonna have to force myself to learn to. The leverless ones are definitely interesting for SF6. Is diagonal just down and right/left at the same time?

Gotcha. I think people normally use dpad over the joystick on pad, but I was having issues with inputs (especially dragon punch) so I switched.

And exactly - diagonal input on leverless is two buttons pressed simultaneously. I recommend one, but they can be pricey. If you're interested, I used my keyboard to (shittily) simulate leverless so I could try it out. I used w - left, e - down, r - right, space - up and then 8 attack buttons mapped for the right hand. It's definitely a change, though!
