…if they get a deal for Moises Caicedo over the line.

There has been disappointment at Arsenal that Partey dominated matches for two thirds of the past season, then regressed to his performance levels of the previous two campaigns. [@TimesSport, @garyjacob] #afc

This is the good Jacobs fyi

I don't like his association with this club, but it would be very difficult to lose Xhaka, Partey, and potentially Jorginho in one summer

We aren't getting rid of our 3 midfield vets in one window. We have CL and the the league next season and we will need depth.

our 3 midfield vets

I will not stand for this Elneny erasure!

That's arguably the issue. If we're losing Xhaka and Partey and only bringing in two, our squad would still be a little shallow.

@sabret00the @Gingerrific i like the idea of keeping partey as a rotation player for rice; have him play 20-25 games (which is all he seems available for anyway)

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

@WorldcupCSR @sabret00the @Gingerrific his fragility is one reason why I'd just take whatever we can get for him. A backup who's never available is not a real backup.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

@thatdosbox @sabret00the @Gingerrific but if he would accept the role and really just play 20-25 games he’d be a backup that didn’t cause the levels to drop significantly.

@WorldcupCSR @sabret00the @Gingerrific let's just say his fragility is *one* reason I'd be fine with getting rid of him 🀐

@thatdosbox @sabret00the @Gingerrific on a separate topic, seeing an athletic article on Marcus Thuram; wonder why we aren’t in for him??

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

@WorldcupCSR @sabret00the @Gingerrific seems he's more suited to a counter attacking team, and less suited to patient build up play?

So it's not Riceido, it's Riceidogan!!

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Not gonna lie, I'm okay with this πŸ‘€

[–] Naryn 1 points 2 years ago

Jorginho is happy to stay apparently.

[–] sensiblepuffin 5 points 2 years ago

I think if we can bring Caicedo in then we can afford to sell one of Partey and Jorginho.

[–] goldgate 4 points 2 years ago

Caicedo in.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 years ago (1 children)

My conscience says just get him out. We don't need a person like him in our squad.

[–] Nico 1 points 2 years ago

Excellent player I would be happy to get rid off for reasons other than football

Fucking good. Get him the fuck out of our club.

[–] DarkUFO 1 points 2 years ago

Hope we get rid off. Not a nice guy.

Anything around Β£25m just take it and drop that on Elia if necessary
