Lol, I'm a partially disabled roadie. No joke. I still ride too, daily.
I can't really judge people for misunderstanding the complexity of disabilities and how things can go wrong in practice. I used to think a lot of dumb stuff about disability/recovery/human motivation, and I realize this post was intend as a joke.
I'm not offended, it's just worth saying, you might even get stomped by some partially disabled ex-racer that can't stand up straight off the bike, but that doesn't matter in a neutral riding position.
There are a lot more disabled people on bikes than you might initially believe. I was the Buyer for a chain of shops for 6 years and helped many of them directly.
