Stop defending the indefensible
All of us need to take a step back.
Cops often need to make snap decisions.
Are we going to jump to conclusions before all facts are known?
Bad new like this is just sensationalized and in everyone's feeds.
Period.
Did you watch the report? The officer calmly walked over to the woman because she was recording them arresting a guy for shoplifting. There are certainly pieces of the footage missing from this report, but I'll say there's little reason to toss someone to the ground and pepper spray them. This certainly didn't seem appropriate. She was not a threat to anyone and it's not illegal to record the police.
