The new album from Haken took some time till it found its way into my brain. I really love their work, have seen them live three times before corona hit.

I like it a lot more than Virus! I feel it's a lot more melodic, whereas Virus for me fell on the classic prog metal trap of complexity for complexity's sake. However, The Mountain is still my favorite.

Also check out Charlie Griffith's solo album. It's quite a bit heavier than Haken, with thrash metal influences, and tbh I like it more than Haken's work.

Same here, it took a few listens for this album to really grow on me. It’s quite nice, though!

Oh I didn't hear about the new album! I've only listened up to Virus. Gonna have to give this one a spin and see how it is

My favourite from Fauna. Love that chorus, and how it's different every time.

By the way, awesome user name (assuming it's referencing one of my GOAT albums)!

It is a reference to „In The Passing Light Of Day“ album from Pain Of Salvation which is definitely one of my GOAT albums ;) I am a big fan of Pain of Salvation and have seen them live once. This album gives me goosebumps whenever I listen to it, absolutely fantastic.
