Just make it up, fuck it lol. I already use all the adblockers I can and actively don't buy things I'm advertised out of spite, instead opting for doing my own research, so the data they're collecting is already useless and they may as well just fabricate it.

I believe it. Sending updates out against the owner's will at any time the car company sees fit is bound to cause issues.
