Just making a quick post to see if this page is active? Been keeping an eye on Lemmy for a long time but I know it will grow after the Reddit API changes. So just putting this out there in case anyone else is here?

With Lemmy, there's not really a "main" community for anything. A community here on Lemmygrad'll be communist, but you could create an Irish community on your own instance, or on lemmy.ml as well.

I guess users'll gravitate to whichever they prefer, if there are duplicates. The flavor of each instance makes it hard to have real duplicates, even if they're about the same thing.
