It would take something truly revolutionary to move me away from the Pixel. I had the original Pixel and after that went through a couple different non-Pixel phones and the whole time I hated the experience. Google's extra features that you get with Pixels have become essential to me.
I've had the Pixel 5 for almost 3 years now, I just replaced the battery in it and I plan on keeping this phone for at least another couple years. It has everything I need on the hardware front, and is still getting new features and updates.

I'm typing this on a Pixel 3, I don't even remember how many years I've had it now. I'm nearing readiness for an upgrade and looking at the 6 or 7
The pixel 7 won Marquis Brownlee's Smartphone Awards 2022. It convinced me to upgrade, and I definitely don't regret it.
The glass back is a bit of a con though, Mine got broken. Well time to buy a new one!
The 7a doesn't have a glass back, you could see this as a pro 😁
