Internet as an art

Rule 1: All post titles except for meta posts should be just plain "hmmm" and nothing else, no emotes, no capitalisation, no extending it to "hmmmm" etc.

I will introduce more rules later and when I finish doing that I will make an announcement post about that.

For overall temporary guide check out the rules here: https://www.reddit.com/r/hmmm/wiki/rules/

I won't be moving all of them here but I will keep most of them.

I know I'm meant to hate it because making guns look like toys is bad.. but it does look pretty great

This is one of those things.

Like yeah, i get it. It's honestly kinda cool.

But can you please FUCKING NOT.

Don't know why you're being downvoted. I agree with you, sure, it looks cool, but why?

The chance for something bad to happen just increases with things like this. Accidental gun-related deaths are already a thing that happens too much.

I modded my vehicle to look like a giant hotdog. Maybe I should think twice before I contribute to the obesity epidemic. I can't help but feel partly responsible for causing people to over eat and kill themselves.

Two very different things. Obviously cars kill many people every year, that's not the intended purpose, and making one look like a hotdog won't realistically increase the probability of a child seeing it, thinking it's a toy, and hurting themselves or someone else.

Guns are made to kill things, making an instrument of death look like a toy can definitely increase the probability of a bad outcome.

Hmmm. Red herring or strawman?
