I agree! It being what it is, it has its issues being the B8 s4 (PCV valve, water pump, and the odd case the very expensive timing chain), they’re a reliable, powerful and tuneable car. AWD to top it off.
Very much dislike Audi’s choice of no dipstick though.
It’s convenient when the level works in Audi’s MMI system, but 90% of the time when I want to check the oil level, it’s a waste of time.
Especially when doing an oil change, you can’t just pull a dipstick to check how much oil you’ve put in. You have to run the car for about 10 minutes to warm it up and let it sit for an accurate reading.
Luckily you can buy dipsticks, which I should really do.
