This is exactly the kind of abortion-ban-supportive police action we’d been hoping we wouldn’t see.

It is imperative that women seeking healthcare in states other than their own remain vigilant in their travel planning and discreet around communicating about their condition.

Truly scary times. It was difficult to imagine this reality even a year ago.

If you are out west and can manage the trip, come to Washington if you need healthcare being outlawed by your state. Our government has already been passing legislation to protect those who come here for abortion care. Reach out to the Auntie network if you need help.

I mean, California is supposed to be a supportive state as well. Our governor has been very clear about that, as have our legislators, and the popular vote added the right to abortion into our state constitution. This POS is endangering people despite all that. My point here being that the problem is what police officers are allowed to get away with, even in extremely liberal states like CA and WA. We need to put a stop to it.

You have a good point. Here in Washington, they could get away with it in more rural counties. But if you go to somewhere like Seattle or Tacoma, it's not a concern.

I’ve been so proud of the state of Washington in all of this. Thank you.
