Interested in seeing the Aqara devices using Matter. It's a shame the button is only functional if you use their new hub, but wonder if you'll be able to use it through Home Assistant.

The problem with Aqara Zigbee devices is Aqara doesn't properly follow the Zigbee standard, and their devices don't alway's work well with Zigbee router devices from other brands. Some work fine, others don't and the Aqara devices repeatedly drop connection. I like their door, motion, and temperature sensors, they are accurate and nicely designed. But getting them to work reliably with my other Zigbee devices has been a challenge at times.

Ah right. Didn't realise they didn't properly follow the ZigBee standard. I've had almost no issues with the temperature and door sensors I have from them though. Haven't found any better for the price.
