I regularly play UNO atm and would love to hear your strategies when playing this game. Do you try to remember what cards were played e.g. the +2 an d+4? Do you switch colors if someone is about to finish? Do you also keep the color-picker until the end?

My usual strategy is to prevent players from using one of their 1000 house-rules that they think is hilarious. Playing UNO is already bad enough, at least let me play with the god damn rules.

To actually answer your question, I don't try to be too competitive at this game because the people that want to play it are very casual. I tend to play whatever color I have the most. If I can switch to a color where I have a lot more cards of I will.
