When you get in a four-green-letter trap like you did after your third guess, if you're not in hard mode, there's a way out of it. You're allowed to ignore the clues and guess several letters at once. You were split between D, K, P, and V, so I'd have played a word like POKED. That can't win, but it guarantees a win in the guess after it.
