What'd be cool is if when you enter a URL the lemmy interface lets the poster choose an image or even cropped region from the linked page.

I know an url is grammatically correct, but for whatever reason it doesn't sound right.

Is it? I would think it's 'a', not 'an' because it's "a you-are-el" (English is not my native language).

Yup, that's correct. It doesn't matter that it begins with a vowel, what matters is if it sounds like a vowel. Likewise, "an university" and "a hour" are both incorrect.

This is still salvageable by pronouncing it as "an earl".
