Hard to break old habits, I kept accidently opening the RiF app. And so long as I'm not logged in I can browse reddit. Is this the case for anyone else? And do we know why?

I think it's deliberate. Either they plan to send /u/talklittle a surprise bill, or they want you to see what youre missing and open their app.
