Is there a way to make it load older posts? Some of the ones I go into have literally nothing.

Some communities literally have 0 posts. People probably made them and hoped other people would start posting.

I think the admins here are working on making the NSFW posts visible by default so browsing the site without an account should confirm whether or not that's true. For now you can check a community's side bar to see how many posts you may be missing.
