  3. This community is meant for showcasing artists' work - this excludes
    • AI generated artwork
    • Screenshots from films or games
  4. Submitting the link from the original source instead of downloading and rehosting is recommended
    • This will ease server stress on smaller lemmy instances
    • /!\ Many mobile apps don't generate previews unless the url ends with a common file extension /!\
    • Therefore, if possible, please strip all parameters after .png, .jpg, etc.

Woah. It's using the logo and colors of the Dutch national railway. Maybe they commissioned it?

Edit: duh. It says so in the link.

Don made this for the 100th anniversary of the Dutch Railways.

it does say that, but i read somewhere else that it was the 150th anniversary. a cursory google says ns was founded in 1839, which would make 150 correct, and i can't see anything significant that happened in 1889 — i wonder if anyone who knows more could shed some light in that?

it's such a cool logo though, i think it's on par with the old br logo (and the colours remind me of the old 125s)
