I'm getting a bug where swiping to return from something (like this comment section) makes the app go black. It does return me to the previous screen, so it's fully functional, but the effect is a bit jarring.
Only when swiping back. Pressing the back button behaves as it does normally
Looking into this. Can't reproduce at all at the moment.
Here's a screenshot of what I'm talking about (in light mode to make it obvious).
I'm pretty sure it's meant to show a dimmed view of what is behind?
I'm on a Samsung with OneUI 6 if that helps. Can't give any more info at the moment!
Working ok here, S22 Ultra fully updated.
Device information
Do you see the age below when swiping partially or only when fully swiped away?
It's black until fully swiped.
Here's what I'm talking about. Light mode to make it more obvious. It's supposed to show a dimmed view of what's behind, but instead shows just black until it's swiped away entirely. That is something the app has started doing recently.
Oh it's way more jarring in light mode. I'm using amoled black with disabled animations so it looks fine to me.
I think it's just as jarring in amoled mode, which I use when it's darker
You find? Maybe it's because it contrasts with the back button animation? I have that disabled so idk
I'm used to it being a dimmed view of what is behind, so being brought to a black screen and that view just opening with zero animation is not correct and pretty annoying.
Ok, yes that's what I'm seeing too.
I'm gonna try clearing the app tomorrow and get back if I still have the issue
