Monday, March 4, 2024: Haslinger Hétfő


A good shave, and I wonder how many shaves are still in this soap. I guess around five, and I saw no real difference before and after today.

I don't know - it's a razor I feel safe with. It's still a bit uncomfortable to handle, and the blade could be longer, but it's not too bad. I clearly prefer it to my Soviet straight.

The Barbarossa is an interesting animal. Just feels like it should be a good idea, IMO

I'll make a photo later tonight of my rocket razor from the CCCP.

The Barbarossa is probably a good idea, I just need to get used to its size - it feels nothing in the hand like a regular straight, or even a shavette 🤷‍♂️

Have you ever used a Kamisori? It has a similar edge length as a Barbarossa (albeit a very different geometry)

I have a kamisori style shavette, but I 've never tried the real thing 😂
