If you use enough electrical tape, that counts as a junction box, right?

I'm a hack myself, so I get it, but jeez. A wet application like a dishwasher installation really isn't the place for this sort of carelessness.

The second picture shows how I remotely open a circuit breaker.

Should take that armor cable and run it into the cabinet to the right then put a handy box on the end and a GFCI TR outlet. Then put a min 14g cord on the washing machine. Even better would be to run a new circuit from the panel and put it on a DFC (afci/gfci) breaker.

Yes I ended up putting a new junction box in the under sink cabinet. It's part of a kit from Bosch that includes their proprietary power connector. The dishwasher has its own 20A circuit, but I'm not sure if it has a DFC breaker. I will have to check on that.

I love the green floor, too. I wish it was in better shape.
