In other news: Video Game publishers are grossly out of touch with what people actually enjoy about specific games.

Battlefield was consistently fun because it made you feel like a small part of a massive team in a large-scale conflict.

Battle Royale stands almost opposite to that principle since you’re fighting alone, or in a tiny group, against everyone else.

EA wants a F2P BR game, fine, but they already have one of the best in Apex Legends. The fact that they want to slap the name “Battlefield” on one shows that they have no idea what that name means to people.
