There's a lot to be said about these dramas always being more complex than an outsider can fully understand, not to mention no one having time for 2 hour YouTube deep dives on video game drama, but I think ultimately the result speaks for itself.

An artist collective created an amazing game with real staying power in the industry, and then the business majors forced all them out and didn't even manage to keep pumping out mediocre products in the process, much less more greatness.

That's why I'll never understand the kneejerk bootlickers, the corporate ghouls weren't even good at being ghouls! They killed the goose and then burned the meat! They could have exploited those nerds for DECADES!
