I'm going completely crazy trying to find games that are just games and not cheap clones of other money making machines.

How about the OPUS series? It's an original game. I've not played the game, but I loved the demo of the first series.

Yes. That's the second series in the game. They're not related to each other, btw. I'm not sure if order matters here.
