They're talking about intercity stuff. Did I miss something or will we be able to manage regions with different cities?

The biggest thing I'm thinking about is how a regional map would work. I do know that SimCity 4 did it successfully, but the lack of explicit showcasing of such a feature for CS2 has me skeptical they have one.

I'm expecting that intercity connections will purely be based on existing save files. But, I would welcome being proven wrong if they end up showcasing a regional map!

Last week they briefly showed that you can connect roads (at least highways), rail and air to the map borders! I think it was in the video, and not in the blog post itself. I’ll look up the picture

I remember that too, but I'm hyped to see the full extent of what we'll do with this mechanic!

It's probably just your city as one entity and the rest of the world as the other one.
