9 out of 10 teens use iPhone. Because of status and iMessage.

Looks like Android is becoming the OS for the rest of the world. Which is ok since I live in the rest of the world.

Not really surprising. Apple had a great name in the US since the iMac and iPod and has been sure to build on it. If I were American I might also be proud to use an "American product"

Thankfully outside the US we have the choice of android. Having said that, the rich and people who love status, do use iPhones

Here in Brazil it is a gigantic status symbol. We have the most expensive iPhone in the world. iPhone 15 Pro max here is 9.3k, our minimum wage is 1.4k. I never liked the OS and even if I could buy one, I'd never. I've met people who said they don't really like their iPhone, but uses them to keep Status in check. People are very stupid

Yes. People are very stupid with these things. Especially in a country with a large part of the population in poverty.

That's what I love about Android: because it's open source devices come in at all price points and anyone can get android and make a device.

I been in Mexico and if you have an iphone/iPad it will disappear.

I d9nt know of a single person who kept their apple products aside the laptops) for more than a few weeks.

You could leave your androids out in the open and they wont go anywhere. But Apple? Say bye bye.
