Banning all plastic bags is WAY past due. The thick ones just allowed the lazy to throw away more plastic.
Yep. The thicker plastic ones are even worse than the thinnest ones stores have now. What people need to be using are the fabric ones or have more stores go the route of Lidl, Costco, BJs, etc and have customers use boxes to take their purchases home.
The whole thing feels like it was just a power play to normalize grocery stores charging customers for bags. They banned plastic bags, started charging us for paper bags which were free before the ban, then brought in even heavier plastic bags and kept charging us. Dafuq?
So you never came to the conclusion to bring your own bags, boxes to the store? That's the real dafuq!
