Hello -- moving most of my presences, such as they are, to the Fediverse.

I'm a displaced city mouse, stuck in rural southern Illinois, after growing up in New England in the shadow of NYC, and living for 20+ years in Seattle. Happily, I'm not far from St. Louis, which is very comparable to Seattle, so I and my wife take advantage of all that city has to offer as often as we can.

Hey fellow former city-dweller! I grew up in Singapore, lived in Denver for a few years, and have been living in a small town in Central IL for a couple years now. It's not too bad since I'm a homebody and my husband is from the area, but I do miss the convenience of living in a city.

My wife grew up here, and has family here, and is much more of a homebody than I am. To be fair, she was never happy with the Seattle weather, but she does enjoy heading to St. Louis for concerts and such.

Howdy neighbor. I grew up in rural So Ill. It may not be the greatest but there are definitely worse places to be.
