What is the goal of this community? (self.manga)

I was wondering whether this community focuses on discussing and recommending manga, or mostly on "manga announce" instead, from the majority of the posts I'm seeing. The sidebar doesn't give much information.

NB: just in case I'm being misread, this is not a criticism! Just trying to understand whether I'm interested in subscribing or not.

Disc stands for discussion, people on the subreddit used to discuss about that specific chapter in the comments
