What a good idea, those would be an excellent size for that 1l carry-on bag. Wouldn't they be a pain to clean out though?

I try to fill them up fully (more than I need) and continue to use them when I get back home. So far I've had back to back trips that I just kind of topped them off when i left for another trip, so i don't reality have experiences with having so clean them out haha.

They're looking a bit worn out for sure, but they were cheap enough that I don't feel bad throwing them out once im done with it. Might not be good for the environment 😬 but it helps me lug around less stuff
