It's fair to criticize players' wages when they're not playing at what the amount signifies.

@coygsu @Wengerite Nope. Critiquing a players performance is fair game, regardless of how much they earn. Criticizing them for maximizing their income in a short career? Not so much.

I'd argue there are times when critising them for chasing the money is fair, but maximising what they get from the club is not; only in situations where it's like the Saudi League rn basically. (or like, Cashley Cole)

@Astrealix fair point, Cristiano Ronaldo is the perfect example of that. Made the most of his playing career, and would have had plenty of other well paying opportunities than shilling for the Saudi's.
