Barbie, Oppenheimer, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, Society of the Snow.
Barbie: Great idea, terrible, terrible movie. After the media hype my expectations were rather high, was thoroughly disappointed.
Oppenheimer: I loved the movie, but honestly would have preferred a linear timeline. Seeing the events and consequences side by side made for an interesting way of storytelling, and is very much a Nolan specialty, but I feel that this narrative requires more knowledge about the era from its audience than necessary. This might not be the case for a US-audience, but living in Asia where none of the historic details are commonly known made for some very confused faces in the cinema.
Indiana Jones: Meh. Better than the Crystal Skull, but it really wasn't necessary.
Society of the Snow: Excellent movie, I really hope they win the best foreign film award. They really managed to capture the desperation and hardship of the people, and the actors were brilliant, despite many of them being on screen for the first time.
