A place to share alternatives to popular online services that can be self-hosted without giving up privacy or locking you into a service you don't control.

I've run into this yesterday, and was puzzled not to be able to find any news about the change back then! It really does suck, and I wonder about the timing coinciding with the shutdown of Reddit APIs; yet another site full of useful content taking its toys and going home. πŸ˜‘

Oh dear, they've dicked Aurora up too?!

It has been having problems the last few weeks because google was blocking frequent request from accounts (like the anonymous accounts you use with aurora.
