Pasting files (xls files, specifically) into notes (self.obsidianmd)

I do a lot of pasting files into notes, and this works really well. However, is there a way to have the paste default to [[attachments/filename|filename]] instead of ![[attachments/filename]] ?

I asked on the official forum, nobody there seems to know either. I just remove them manually for now, maybe somebody will make a plugin sometime that gives you the option to have either.
