So you’re not seeing LGBT-phobic bills, or people carrying rifles into libraries to prevent drag queens from reading to children, or the entirety of the Republican slate of presidential candidates trying to outcompete each other with transphobia?
Yes, you live in a bubble.
I've seen a couple of bill proposals that got shot down in Florida, which is one of, if not the most conservative state in the union. Otherwise no, I haven't seen that other stuff. Is that common, or very rare events that get heavy news coverage?
Perhaps it has been pretty in your face, but not in mine. But I live in a very blue area (like 98%), and I only have a couple of gay friends. Those friends don't complain about unfair treatment, but they don't follow the news and politics either. My question wasn't an argument, it was a question.
