In what world is a pro-Hamas group "alt-left"?

When the bulk of their politics align with left leaning perspectives but they support terrorism and terrorist groups like Hamas. Where they dismiss violence against Israelis and Jews, if not outright celebrate it and justify it. Meanwhile echo chambering lies and propaganda about the conflict to support their efforts to dehumanize Israel to support their hatred and delusions.
